rat老鼠 在西方人的印象中也是不好的东西，往往个欺骗相关联。love rat 是西方人中口语中常用的一个词，即所谓的俚语(Slang )，不是正式英语(formal english)，意思是指那些对爱情不专一，玩弄感情的人，一般指男性，和中文中的负心汉，爱情骗子等含义对应。

love rat is people who cheat on their partners, and they’re quite often men.

例如：
Well,Having 12 children with 12 different women, all of whom he has cheated on at least five times,Mike is apparently the biggest love rat of the city.
显然mike是一个负心汉，他和十二个女士有十二个小孩，至少欺欺骗每个女士5次以上。


The love rat sprung a nasty surprise on his girlfriend by admitting he was two-timing her and had slept with his stepson's ex-girlfriend.
这个骗子对其女友爆出了下流的丑闻，承认了曾对其女朋友劈腿，并和其继子的前女友有过一夜。
