It's a major decision and why don't you sleep on it and give me your answer in a day or two.
sleep on it的英文解释是:
take at least a day to think about something before making a decision.
1.
We asked him if he would go home on holiday and he said he would sleep on it.

hit the sack/hay
It's getting late let's hit the sack.
下面是有关hit the sack和hit the hay的一些例句:

It's something of a catch-22 situation: On the one hand it may be beyond the means of the owners of a new restaurant to buy expensive furnishings, but on the other hand it is those furnishings that help make the good first impression that attracts customers.

my two cents 我的拙见
"My two cents"这个短语的完整形式是"put my two cents in" ,是一个美国英语中的俗语,被用来描述说话人将会陈述个人的意见。
If I may put my two cents in, that hat doesn't do you any favors.

Hat trick

After 2 seccessful terms, the mayor is hoping for a hat trick(He wants to be eleced mayor again.)

go Dutch AA制

go Dutch 或者是 go Dutch treat是指在用餐或相关社交场合AA制付账。
To pay one's own expenses on a date or outing
1.
She and Her boyfriend Bobby always go Dutch at the restaurant.

3.
Well, I spend ¥35 and yours is ¥48, let's go Dutch, Justin?
Justin.
hit the books 用功学习
